EVANGELISM MINISTRY
This department is responsible to keep the work of evangelism alive in our church and the community. The Commission given by Christ to the Church in Matthew 28: 18 b – 20:
All Power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always even unto the end of the world. Amen”
This groups coordinates with the sub groups of the Evangelism Department – the Weekly Community Outreach Team that canvasses the community, knocking on doors praying for individuals and families in homes and on the streets, identifying the spiritual and temporal needs, leading the lost to Christ and inviting them to church – if they do not have a church home.
The Evangelism Department conducts Church Revivals, street meetings and our Annual Service in Rawson Square (in front of the Parliament Building).
