The building was constructed under the leadership of the late Bishop Alvin S. Moss, a spiritual giant of great leadership abilities and keen vision. The architectural design of the first phase was completed by the late Mr. Eddie Dillet and the second phase by the late Bishop Arthur ‘Jack’ Moss, protégé of Mr. Dillet. The present structure has undergone numerous renovations.
The latest addition to this structure was completed in April 2006 under the visionary leadership of Bishop Franklin M. Ferguson, former Senior Pastor. This new addition houses a ‘state of the art’ Children’s Chapel that seats 300 persons comfortably with nursery facilities for infants and toddlers on the ground floor and on the upper floor there is a Board room, a Training Room and Administrative Offices.
Over the years this local church has hosted many national events including conventions, crusades, conferences and also civic events including Independence Ecumenical Services and the State Funeral for the late Sir Lynden O. Pindling, former Prime Minister.
