YOUTH & CHILDRENS MINISTRIES

This ministry is officially extended to persons from birth up to age 40 years.  However many who are described as JOYS - Just Over youth are excitedly involved. 

The mission of the Youth Ministries is to minister the word of God to the youth of the church and country in a manner that they can understand at their age level and thereby lead them to Christ.

The youths are provided with a wide range of opportunities to interact with others, share their experiences, study the word, express their fears and concerns, enjoy physical, academic and spiritual activities and use their creative energies in spreading the gospel through songs, dance, drama, poetry, arts and crafts.

Some of the sub-groups include:

• The Children’s Ministry 0 – 12 years  (Sharon Deveaux, Director)
• The Sonbeams Ministry 13 – 20 years (Michael Swann, Director)
• Young Adult Ministry 20 +  (Maurice Simms, Director)

As of 16^th April 2006, Youth and Children’s Ministry will have the opportunity to worship and expand their ministry in a brand new Children’s Chapel and Activity Centre.  This is the continuation of the Church’s Community Outreach Programme which includes:

• After school Homework Centre
• Computer Classes
• Dance Ministry
• Sports
• Crafts
• Bible Training
• Music
• Social Skills Classes
• Etc
