BISHOP DR. WOODLEY C. THOMPSON, Associate Pastor

Bishop Dr. Woodley C. Thompson is the third son of General Presbyter, Bishop Brice H. and Sister Advira Thompson.  Bishop Thompson’s educational journey took him to St. Andrew’s in New Providence to the University of Texas, to the Howard University in Washington D. C., to St Louis University Medical Centre in Missouri.  Professionally, Bishop Thompson is an Orthodontist with offices in New Providence, Grand Bahama, Abaco and Eleuthera.

Dr. Thompson is a member of several Dental Associations and has pioneered the organization of the first Bahamas Dental Conference.  Dr. Thompson is also credited for spearheading a community outreach programme to the Family Islands where Dentists from the Association volunteered to give free dental services to school children and the community at large. 

Bishop Thompson has contributed to the church in many areas, namely: Sunday School Teacher, Public Relations Officer and Director of Bible Studies.  Presently he serves the church as Radio and Television Minister and Director of Protocol.  Bishop Thompson has served this local church as Associate Pastor since March 2000.

Married to the former Verneque Ferguson, they are the parents of three children, Luke-Kennedy, Mark-Anthony and Zaylie-Elizabeth.
